CCA BOWLING COMES TO AN END

Everybody knows what bowling is; most people have bowled at least once. People don’t seem to recognize it as a sport to the same degree as football or basketball, which makes some sense because it’s not as physical. I think it should still be recognized as a sport and advertised to the student body. Here at CCA, we don’t have enough people who are actively interested in bowling to have our own team which is why we partner with Iowa City West. We practiced every Monday and Thursday at Colonial Lanes. There were various ways we practiced: we did line drills, one-step, four-step, etc. CCA only has 3 people on the team, Gavin Graham (10th), Gracelyn Whitehead (10th), and myself (11th). Boys came in 4th at regionals and girls came in last. The season concluded last Friday, having gone from mid-November to late February.
