Lili Nandell is a senior at Clear Creek-Amana High School. She is involved in many activities for the school and the district. She is involved in individual speech. Individual speech depends on the category and what many choices you can make. What Nandell likes to do during individual speech is to pick what she wants and what to do at her own pace. What Nandell likes least about individual speech is that it is smaller than group speech. Nandell has been doing individual speech for almost three years and counting. The most interesting part of individual speech for her is watching musical theatre. In individual speech you mostly practice rehearsing lines. Nandell says that during WaMaC and all-state you win awards, but only during individual speech and all-state. Individual speech competes against other schools across the state, mostly those in the southeast district such as Vinton-Shellsburg and Xavier. It is also usually located at different schools. The farthest location for individual speech was over two hours away from Tiffin.
