This month's band concert was on March 6th and it went really well! Both Concert Band and Wind Ensemble played amazing pieces and they sounded great. Concert band played four pieces which included, Libertango, Music from Wicked, Walking Tune, and The Cave You Fear. In addition to that Wind ensemble played Country Club Stomp, Shadow Falls, Twitch, and Pilatus: Mountain of Dragons. The student teacher, James Pellini, was here until spring break and did multiple things up until then. One of the things he did was directing music. For Concert Band he directed the song Libertango, and Shadow Falls for Wind Ensemble. Band student Abby McNiel is in concert band and had a few comments about how it went. Firstly she was really proud of how good the concert went. McNiel went on to say  that something good about the concert was that the tempo stayed good throughout all of the songs. Her favorite song to play was The Cave You Fear. McNeil is definitely excited for the next concert because of the new music they got.
