Practices are every Tuesday after school and every Saturday morning.

We don't have an official Trap meet schedule out yet.

How it works:

You have a squad of 5 shooters all the same level: Varsity, JV, etc.

Each Round of trap is 25 shots.

At shoots, the amount of rounds a squad shoots varies: Usually 2 (50 shots), 4(100 shots), or 8(200 shots) rounds.

The different things you can win:

  • 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in your division: Me (Mens Varsity), Charlotte (Womens JV)

  • 1st, 2nd, or 3rd squad in your division

  • Top squad (Top 5 shooters) doesn't matter your division

How you win is based on your score:

50/50

49/50

48/50

...

90/100

If there is a tie between shooters, there is 2 ways to solve:

Shoot off: however many people tie shoot another round, and whoever scores higher wins - could be multiple rounds.

Countback: The people scoring will go back in and look to see who missed most recently. For example, if another male varsity and I both shoot 47/50, and he misses his 49th shot and I miss my 43rd shot, I would win.
