As most of you may know, English teachers try to get you to read as much as possible, whether it's a book that is assigned to you or a free reading book that you picked out. They just want you to read, and that is what Book Bingo was made for. It's a way to get more students to read a more diverse array of books and have a little game to go along with it, and the things you need to know about Book Bingo are really simple and easy to get started with.

The first thing to know about Book Bingo is where to begin. To get started, just go up to any of the English teachers and ask them if you can have the Book Bingo sheet.

The next thing to know is how the game works and/or how to play. Mrs. Morris-Larson put it best: “Bingo works by reading books!” Reading is the main objective of Book Bingo, and as you read books, you'll write them down in the category that fits with the book that you read. Once you get three in a row in any direction, you can go to Morris-Larson in room 217 to get a prize for the bingo. You’re able to get multiple bingos, so you can keep going to Morris-Larson’s room ‘til you fill the whole sheet out. When going in to get your final prize with a blackout sheet, you’ll get to put your name on the blackout bingo wall in her room.

That should be all the information needed to start your adventure, so go and enter into Book Bingo now—it's easy.
