As the school year comes to an end, some might start thinking about what they are going to do on our summer break. If you haven’t thought about what you are going to do over the break, then you are not alone, and there still is time to find out what you want to do. Hopefully by the end of this you have an idea of what you would like to do over the summer.

Some summer activities can be spontaneous but some activities are a given, like if you work. Out of the 65 students who were surveyed, 54 of them had said that they had planned to work over the summer, 8 of them said that they are not planning on working over the summer, and 3 of them said that they have no idea if they are going to work at all, and if at all it would a side job.

Another thing that people are doing over this summer is traveling, going all over the country, and internationally. Most of the students who were surveyed are staying in the country, but a few are not, and some of the places that they are going to are Belize, Hong Kong, Italy, and Korea. The students who are traveling in the states are going all over to the east and west, and some specific places are the Ozarks, Chicago, Hawaii, D.C., and California. Besides traveling for the break, students also want to spend their summer vacation relaxing with friends, partners, and family while sleeping a lot.

Over the summer everyone usually has their own individual way of having fun, and this is shown in the survey that students took. Some said that they were going to play sports like basketball, swim, workout, softball, football, and baseball. Others said that they would read new books, camp out, improve their language skills, and play video games. Also, most of the students said that they wouldn't do school work, but some exceptions were doing NHS volunteer work to get their hours, marching band, Newspaper prep, and online classes.
