Introduction

The majority of the celebrity or well-known couples that we see online are usually problematic in some way or another. A common one is that they are together because 1 person has a grand sum of money. This has led to some crazy age gaps and overall interesting relationships portrayed in the media. But short story short, most of these couples don't have what most common folk have, an old-fashioned love story, except for some… So here are some well-known celebrity couples that are together for each other with no ulterior motive.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce

This celebrity couple started their love story in July of 2023 but never publicly stated the date that they started dating. What makes this relationship genuinely heartwarming is how it all happened. Travis Kelce was a fan of Taylor Swift and shared on his podcast that he had come up with a plan for how he was going to talk to her. The plan was to make and personally give her a friendship bracelet with his number, which was a very well-known part of the Eras Tour. Unfortunately, he was unable to give her the friendship bracelet and talk to her, but that did not slow down the determined Travis Kelce. Being a football player on the Chiefs, Travis decided to make this a full-circle moment and invite Taylor Swift to Arrowhead Stadium to watch one of his performances. From this, their connection continued to bloom. Taylor was spotted going to Travis’s football games, on occasion getting to know key family members in his life, and the same is to say about Travis, with him going to Taylor’s performances. Coming back to the present, nothing much has changed in Taylor and Travis’s relationship, such as their continuous support for each other's booming success in life.

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco

The beginning of this relationship, in a way, started out a bit rocky. Back in the year 2020, Benny Blanco had an interview about his collaboration with Justin Bieber, who had been Selena Gomez’s ex-boyfriend for 2 years at that point. During this interview, he shared criticism towards unoriginal artists having makeup lines. Just a month previously, Selena had just launched her makeup brand “Rare Beauty”, and this made Selena fans not happy. Fast forward to December 7th, 2023, Selena came out sharing that she and Benny Blanco had been dating privately for six months. At first, people were quick to criticize the relationship, but Selena quickly put a stop to that. During the time they first started dating, they were seen supporting each other both in person and online, but it didn't end there. The relationship had been going strong, and a little over a year later, on December 11th, 2024, Selena shared on Instagram a picture of her left hand accompanied by a ring with the caption “forever begins now”, making it very clear that she and Benny have become engaged. From there, many exciting things have happened, the most captivating one being the album Selena collaborated with Benny on named “I Love You First”. Zendaya and Tom Holland

Tom Holland and Zendaya first met each other in 2016 while both working on Spider-Man: Homecoming. It was said that they worked very well together and over time became very good friends. But during that time, that was all that it was, but many fans didn't think so. Most fans were quick to spout out rumors that they were dating, but nothing was ever confirmed, not until years later. Finally, in July of 2021, Tom and Zendaya were caught kissing in a car, which confirmed there was a relationship beyond friendship occurring. Compared to many other celebrity couples seen in the media, Zendaya and Tom both choose to be mostly private with their relationship and not be super physically close with other public figures of their opposite genders. Even though they choose to be private from time to time again during interviews or on social media posts, they have been known to say something sweet or supportive to each other, but nothing more than that.
