The Switch 2 has a number of things that we know and some that remain a mystery. Some things we do know are that the Switch 2 will have a bigger display and controllers. These aren't just your normal Joy-Cons. In the trailer, you can see a mouse sensor, meaning that we might be able to use the Joy-Cons like a regular mouse. The joysticks are also getting an upgrade, using magnets, which means there is a lower chance of getting stick drift. On the left controller, there is an extra button by the Home button. We do not know at this time what it does, but we think it is a programmable button that could be used to open a game faster or as a quick chat feature.

On the body of the Switch itself, we have a bigger stand for tabletop gaming, and there is also an extra USB-C port for charging when in tabletop mode. This could also be used for extra accessories. There is also a built-in microphone on the Switch body, similar to the PS5 controller. The new Switch 2 also has a new dock. It is pretty much the same but slightly more simplistic with rounded corners. It is also speculated that there will be different colors upon release, based on previous years. For example, with the original Switch, they first showed the grey version, then released a blue and red version. It is expected that the same thing will happen with the Switch 2.

The gaming community is also hoping that the Switch 2 will have an OLED screen, enhancing the colors. There are also some new games coming to the Nintendo Switch 2. We do know that there will be a new Mario Kart. One of the leaks suggests that Perfect Dark will be released on Switch 2 and PS5. Another game, Forza Horizon 5, is coming to Xbox and Switch 2. Other games include Starfield, Fable, and Microsoft Flight Simulator. Some leaks have also suggested that Xbox Game Pass might be coming to the Nintendo Switch.
